Acklea Ltd Wins First Order For The Pharos High Level VMS Sign.

Acklea Ltd is pleased to announce that they have taken the first order for the new high level Pharos VMS sign system.

 

The Pharos system consists of 2 VMS sign boards, one which is above the other both displaying the same message. The idea of this system is so all drivers whether in cars or Lorries can see the signs from lane one or lane three, taking away the centre reservation static sign which have always been an issue for operatives to lay out.

 

This new innovation will be set out on the hard shoulder at stages of 800, 500, and 200 yards before road works or obstruction to give the general public much more awareness of the road situation ahead.

 

This new vehicle mounted sign will be fitted to the current Traffic management vehicles that already exist, or on new build vehicles. We are pleased that the first Pharos sign system has been sold through Acklea. The Pharos system sign will also be available for hire through Acklea’s own hire fleet in the future.
